A Swiss Christmas 2011 Celebration in Midway

The Midway Boosters are excited to announce plans for a BIGGER and BETTER Swiss Christmas this year! It will be held in two locations: The Historic Town Hall and the Community Center. We invite artisans and vendors to this annual events, as well as creators of hand crafted gift items. Local food providers are welcome to participate, too, in Midway's traditional beginning of the holiday season. Because we ill be in two venues this year, we can make the booths a bit larger. It will be roomier for the venders and patrons alike. Both locations will have entertainment and a variet of food items. The deadline for all applications is Septeber 15th. We will have room for more vendors this year but the jury process will take place immediately after the deadline. Please come and enjoy our "old fashioned" town party with your friends and neighbors. As always, we will be entertained by the Swiss Miss Royalty, children's dance groups, the Swiss Bells, Christmas music performs and carolers. We will be visited by Father and Mother Christmas on Saturday, December 3rd from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The charm of the old Town Hall, recently refurbished, and Community Center is sure to make this the best Swiss Christmas yet. As in the past we will be joined on these two days by the Interfaith Creche Exhibit, making it a wonderful time for all. |
